2017 TREND REPORT: The Athleisure Suit

Who doesn’t love a look that’s already a perfect match and makes you look like you just stepped off the runway yet still get that extra 10 minutes of sleep? Coordinated, chic and cozy; the athleisure suit is going to be everyone’s go to outfit when it comes to satisfying this fall 2017 athleisure trend. Instead of just matching your favorite pair of black leggings with a sporty top, designers have created complete sets that are simply stunning. With iconic and subtle details added to each outfit, Armani, Stella McCartney and other designers have dressed up your comfy look so you can feel fashion forward when leaving the house.

For Her

When wearing sweat pants usually our last go to in foot apparel options is anything open toe or with a heel. Yet when Versace and Chloe sent their models down the runway this FW17 season we couldn’t help but love what the open toe, sandal look did for the leisure suit. Another addition we noticed to this basic style is the simple and details that make the look extra chic.  Armani Junior girls polka dot shorts and zipper hoody would look like just a normal set if it wasn’t for the addition to the peplum bottom on the jacket. Another adorable set from Armani Junior is the baby girl frog patch legging and zipper hoody set. The jacket features a lovely collar and fun polka dot cuffs on the sleeves that match the leggings. Keeping up to date with the metallic trend, Stella McCartney’s foil star matching top and bottom set will make any little girl feel super stylish and comfortable. Match any of these looks with Armani Juniors navy bow sandals to automatically dress up her casual look this fall.

For Him

Baby boys are less interested in the extra bells and whistles so the simple and classic matching leisure suit is the ideal option for them. From 3 months up to 1-year-olds, Armani Juniors navy and grey track suit is the perfect gift to give to a new mother who doesn’t always have the time to start matching outfits for her wiggling new born. For baby boys 1 to 2 years old, Armani Juniors blue and white matching set will make your little one look like a mini star athlete.  Our favorite baby boys set is from Moschino, the red, white, and navy theme is so adorable matched with the varsity style zip up jacket. The iconic Moschino bear logo on both the top and bottom makes this set so unique and classic. Roberto Cavalli Junior’s all back sweat suit for 6-8 year old boys is every cool guy’s dream comfort look. The set features rubber ribbing on the knees and shoulder the create a bikeresqu look. Match any of these looks with Armani Juniors navy and white low-top running sneakers that we carry in sizes for both baby boys and boys.
