Spring 2017 Trends: Fierce Florals

Whether you consider it a classic or a cliché, floral patterns have always been a spring time staple for any female at any age. In the past delicate, sweet or romantic are some of the words we might have used when looking at the soft floral prints that came down Stella McCartney’s runways show for Spring/Summer 2013. Now we’re saying big, bold and powerful as the classic pattern gets a complete face lift.   While most of us were still bundled up in our fur Armani winter coats, designers were covering the runways with bright and colorful spring fashion.

From Chloé to Roberto Cavalli we saw daring oversized flowers printed, embroidered, and stitched on just about everything. Daisy’s blossomed at Stella McCartney Kids, hydrangeas burst all over at Young Versace and the jungle took over at Roberto Cavalli Junior. Whether she's a girly girl or an edgy rock star, these prints are so versatile that every child, regardless of their personal style, will love to add them to their wardrobe. Match Fendi’s red, blue, and pink floral leggings with a Fendi black graphic tee and a Karl Lagerfeld black leather moto jacket for a chic outfit or Fend's ivory top with faux fur shoulders for your little trend setter.

As for baby girls, Stella McCartney’s floral sets could not possibly be any more adorable and perfect for hot summer days. Add a Petit Bateau sun hat to protect their face and complete the outfit. These striking prints are all about confidence and having fun with style, let her mix and match different patters and silhouettes to find her unique fashion sense.
