‘It is better to be over dressed than under’ is something I always take into consideration when going to an event where I’m not 100% positive on the dress code. So needles to say my closet is full of dresses in every shape, color, and fabric one could possibly think of. With summer finally here I’m sure the BBQ /pool party invites have already begun to roll into your inbox and the thought ‘what am I going to wear’ has crossed everyone’s mind. As always, we have you covered with the latest’s fashion tips on how to style looks for your summer event!

            If your kids plan on jumping into the pool for the majority of the party of course their swimwear is key and we have a ton of options for boy and girls, but before they dive in don’t forget about their cover up! For girls, we love the t-shirt dress trend that is happening right now and highly recommend this for ease and comfort when heading to and from the party. Most being made from cotton makes this outfit choice a light and airy option for her. Junior Gaultier, Kenzo, Moschino, Stella McCartney and so many other designers have given us super stylish dresses to chose form for this look. One of our favorites is Stella McCartney’s musical instrument dress that has fun detachable patches that are also so in style right now. the white so it will deflect the sun to keep her cool while the fun and festive musical pattern will make you the life of the party. Moschino ‘Vanity Cat’ T-shirt dress is another favorite of ours for the sassy girl because of the chic cat print on the front that shows attitude and style. Boys have it easy as they can match their swim shorts with a classic polo to achieve an effortless party outfit. We love the look of Hugo Bosses Green swim shorts matched with Kenzo’s light blue Pique polo with green accents to match the bottoms.            Maybe she is more of the person who likes to mingle pool side and really just came for the food and of course to show off her newest styles.
